Watch Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank deliver commencement address to University of Maryland students

Congrats, class of 2016!

Mitch Stringer-USA TODAY Sports

The University of Maryland is holding its main graduation ceremony Wednesday night at Xfinity Center, where Under Armour founder and CEO Kevin Plank, a former Maryland football special teams captain, will deliver the commencement address.

You can watch the entire event here:

Plank is a graduate of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business, and is one of the primary donors for the New Cole Field House. He graduated from the school in 1996, and currently serves on the University of Maryland's Board of Trustees.

Per Under Armour's website:

As special teams captain for the University of Maryland football team during the brutally hot summer of 1995, Plank hated having to change his sweat-soaked cotton T-shirts over and over again during two-a-days. Then, one day, a thought went through his head:

If you're a Maryland fan, you probably know the rest of that story.

Testudo Times would like to congratulate the class of 2016. We wish you all well, and go Terps!
