I am now his biggest fan.
Josh Stirn of Inside Maryland Sports put together a highlights package:
Maryland is still fairly short on frontcourt bodies, but Gill is really important. He'll probably start at power forward, and he'll give Maryland some offensive punch it didn't have from that position. Gill's in great shape -- a chiseled-looking 6'8 and 220 pounds -- and while he's not an excellent three-point shooter, he can help a bit on offense from both inside and beyond the arc. A year with Maryland basketball performance director Kyle Tarp should help him get better, too.
