Big Ten Tournament 2016: bracket, seeding, schedule, TV channels

The Big Ten Conference tournament bracket is set. Indiana is the top seed, with Michigan State, Maryland and Purdue also earning league double byes.

The 2016 Big Ten men's basketball tournament bracket is set. Here's complete seeding information, along with the tournament bracket, scheduling and TV information.

Double byes

No. 1 seed: The Indiana Hoosiers (25-6) are the top seed in this year's tournament, capturing the Big Ten regular season title with a 15-3 conference mark. The Hoosiers capped off their season with a 80-62 win over Maryland on Sunday. Indiana will face the winner of No. 8 Michigan and No. 9 Northwestern on Friday at 12:00 p.m. ET.

No. 2. seed: Michigan State is the No. 2 seed, going 13-5 in conference play this season. The Spartans will face the winner of No. 7 Ohio State and No. 10 Penn State on Friday at 6:30 p.m. ET on the Big Ten Network. 

No. 3 seed: Maryland earned the No. 3 seed with Wisconsin's loss to Purdue Sunday evening. They're likely to face the Badgers in their first game.

No. 4 seed: Purdue earned the No. 4 seed with its win over Wisconsin and Maryland's loss to Indiana. The Boilermakers will face the winner of Thursday's game between No. 5 Iowa and the winner of Wednesday's game between No. 12 Illinois and No. 13 Minnesota. That game will take place at approximately 2:30 p.m. ET on Friday.

Single bye

No. 5 seed: Iowa earned the No. 5 seed and will face the winner of Wednesday's game between No. 12 Illinois and No. 13 Minnesota on Thursday at approximately 2:30 p.m. ET on BTN.

No 6 seed: Wisconsin earned the No. 6 seed with its loss to Purdue Sunday evening. The Badgers will take on the winner of Wednesday's game between No. 11 Nebraska and No. 14 Rutgers Thursday at approximately 9 p.m. ET.

No. 7 seed: Ohio State earned the No. 7 seed and will take on No. 10 Penn State Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. ET.

No. 8 seed: Michigan is the No. 8 seed and will take on No. 9 seed Northwestern on Thursday at noon on Thursday on BTN.

No. 9 seed: Northwestern is the No. 9 seed and will face No. 8 seed Michigan at noon on Thursday on BTN.

No. 10 seed: Penn State earned the No. 10 seed and will face No. 7 seed Ohio State Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. ET.

First round

No. 11 seed: Nebraska is the No. 11 seed and will face No. 14 Rutgers on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET on BTN.

No. 12 seed: Illinois earned the No. 12 seed and will play No. 13 Minnesota on Wednesday at 4:30 ET.

No. 13 seed: Minnesota earned the No. 13 seed and will face No. 12 seed Illinois on Wednesday at 4:30 ET.

No. 14 seed: Rutgers earned the No. 14 seed and will face No. 11 Nebraska on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET on BTN.
