What to Watch

Friday

Baseball at Iowa (4:05 p.m.)

Maryland baseball opens Big Ten play in Iowa City. Mike Shawaryn will look to get the Terps (10-10) off to a good start in their series against the Hawkeyes.

Softball at Ohio State (6:00 p.m.)

Maryland softball limps into Big Ten play with a record of 7-20. The Terps will head to Columbus for a three game set with the Buckeyes. This game will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.

Saturday

Track and Field at Maryland Invitational (10:00 a.m.)

Maryland Track and Field did well at the UCF Black and Gold Challenge. Now, the Terps are set to host the Maryland Invitational at the Kehoe Track and Field Complex (located at Ludwig Field).

No. 6 men's lacrosse vs. No. 12 UNC (2:00 p.m.)

The Terps had a nice long break after beating No. 10 Albany. Maryland is starting to find its rhythm offensively. If the Terrapins can combine that with an already stellar defense, watch out. You can catch this game on ESPNU or WatchESPN.

No. 1 women's lacrosse vs. James Madison (2:00 p.m.)

Maryland has proven that it is, without question, the best team in the country. The Terps took their foot off the gas in a 12-8 win against No. 16 Penn earlier in the week. Look for the Terps to be fully committed to playing a full and intense 60 minutes of Maryland-style lacrosse. This game will be available on BTN Plus.

Softball at Ohio State (2:00 p.m.)

The Terrapins have played a lot of double-headers this season. Luckily, they won't have to do that in Big Ten play. Consistency is the biggest weakness for this team. This game will be available on BTN Plus.

Baseball at Iowa (3:05 p.m.)

The Terrapins will take the field against the Hawkeyes in the second game of their first Big Ten series of the season.

Sunday

Tennis vs. Illinois (11:00 a.m.)

The Terps have been on a little bit of a roll, winning their last two Big Ten matches in a row. Illinois has played a lot of ranked teams this season and owns a win over then-No. 30 Virginia Tech. This would be a big win in Big Ten play.

Softball at Ohio State (1:00 p.m.)

The Terrapins will wrap up their first Big Ten series of the year in Columbus. This game will be available on BTN Plus.

Baseball at Iowa (2:05 p.m.)

After winning the series against Cal State Fullerton last week, the Terps will look to win their three game set with Iowa.
