Photos from Maryland's loss to Washington in the NCAA Tournament.

It was a rough night to be a Terp, but despite the heartbreaking loss, there's not only negatives to take away from this game. I'm going to show you some pictures from tonight's action, and also address the positives and make the best of this horrible situation.

This season was an incredible one, despite its sad ending. I cannot stress enough how proud this team should feel at the end of the day. Before NCAA play, the Terps were 30-3. With no problem at all, the Terps handled almost every opponent that came their way to win yet another Big Ten title, and then, they continued on to take home the Big Ten championship in a tournament, too. Nothing could stop Maryland, and its dominance and play is something that should definitely be recognized. There's a lot of excitement going forward, considering Shatori Walker-Kimbrough and Brionna Jones are entering their final year and should be eager to return to the court.

This was such a fun season, and though this cut is the deepest right now, there is so much to be proud of. A 30-3 season, a Big Ten title and a Big Ten Championship is nothing to look down on. And this will be something that this team will learn from. When you fall down, you have to get back up and be better. That's exactly what the Terps will do.
