College basketball analytics czar Ken Pomeroy has long been a source of consternation for some of our community members. Maryland started its season ranked No. 24 nationally in Pomeroy's model, in part due to a strong conflictbetween Maryland's roster composition and the methodology the model uses. Anyway, Maryland got into the top 10 at the end of January. Just dropping this here as a reminder that Pomeroy now likes Maryland more than bracketologists do. -Alex Kirshner
