Maryland basketball has won its first two Big Ten games fairly easily, and the Terps' third matchup looks to be even easier than the previous ones. Rutgers comes into town to face Maryland for a 7 p.m. tipoff on BTN, where Kevin Kugler and Dan Bonner will have the call.
After the Diamond Stone's spectacular performance led the team to a comeback win over Penn State, the Terps demolished Northwestern in a game that was never close for their second Big Ten win.
Rutgers isn't as good as either of those teams, coming in at No. 243 on Kenpom, almost 80 spots worse than Minnesota, the second-to-last team on those rankings. The Scarlet Knights come to College Park toting a 6-9 record, and have dropped both of their Big Ten games.
