With Dwayne Haskins gone, Maryland has offered Louisiana quarterback Chase Fourcade, he announced on Twitter on Monday night. Fourcade is unrated on the 247Sports Composite, but he has an apparent connection to new Maryland offensive coordinator Walt Bell. Per 247, Bell's former employer, Arkansas State, offered Fourcade a scholarship last Feburary. Fourcade is committed to Nicholls State, but, as Maryland fans can attest, that doesn't mean he's off the board.
