Simply put, Confroy made it rain on Northwestern. She registered her first career double-double with a career-high 24 points and a career-high 10 rebounds. She tied a Maryland single-game record with eight threes in a game, shooting eight of 10 from beyond the arc.
Diamond Stone, Men's Basketball -
Stone scored 22 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in a loss at Michigan.
Robert Carter Jr., Men's Basketball -
Carter Jr. scored 25 points on 10-13 shooting and grabbed five boards in Maryland's 100-65 shellacking of Ohio State.
Chioma Onyekwere, Women's Track and Field -
Onyekwere won the weight throw and took second in the shot put, helping the Terps win the women's team title at the Great Dane Invitational.
Jaron Smith, Wrestling -
Smith won his third straight Big Ten match by pinning Indiana's Wyatt Wilson at 184 pounds.
