College Football Playoff: Alabama vs. Clemson game time, tv schedule, odds, open thread and more

Tonight is the last time you can watch some real live college football until August.

Erich Schlegel-USA TODAY Sports

Clemson and Alabama are the consensus two best teams in the nation, and they'll battle it out Monday night for the National Championship.

This game should give Maryland fans a chance to watch football without the accompanying pain and suffering that the Terrapins provided on the gridiron this season. Chances are this game will be more exciting than the semifinals, where each of the finalists won going away.
