Maryland-South Florida GameThread

The Terrapins host the Bulls in their third game of the season.

Mitch Stringer-USA TODAY Sports

The Maryland football team hosts South Florida for a noon kickoff on Saturday. The Terrapins' third game of the season can be seen on ESPNU or streamed at Watch ESPN, with Clay Matvick and John Congemi on the call.

Maryland and South Florida both enter at 1-1, with the Terps coming off a 47-28 home loss to Bowling Green and the Bulls a 34-14 defeat at Florida State. Bill Connelly's F+ ratings peg Maryland as the 78th-best team in FBS and South Florida as No. 107 out of 128. Maryland is slightly better than a one-touchdown favorite on most lines.

Redshirt junior Caleb Rowe makes his fourth career start for the Terps, and his first of the season after seizing the job from opening-game starter Perry Hills. Former third-stringer Daxx Garman is listed as Rowe's primary backup.
