How'd He Get to College Park?

A three-time all-conference and all-area linebacker at Massaponax, Little was named the conference defensive player of the year his senior season. He received an offer from the Terps in June 2014 while attending a camp and committed around two weeks later.

Career Highlight:

Earning conference defensive player of the year honors his senior year of high school.

Dream Season:

Little plays well enough to make it onto the special teams unit, setting himself for playing time at linebacker in 2016 and a potential starting job in 2017.

2015 Prospectus:

Now with a three-linebacker base defense, Maryland has less opportunities for playing time in the unit simply by having less linebackers on the field. There's also a clear three on top at outside linebacker: Abner Logan at one spot, and either Jalen Brooks or Jefferson Ashiru at the other. They figure to be the players getting the most playing time at the position, with upperclassmen Brock Dean and Avery Thompson also available to help fill in. It looks like the best option for Little may be a redshirt, but he could see himself on the field with a good fall camp.
