How'd He Get to College Park?

Zanotto was named first team all-state and all-conference as both an offensive and defensive player at Franklin Regional High School in Pennsylvania. During his junior season, he broke his high school tackles record with 157. He also wrestled in high school and committed to Maryland on the same day as fellow linebacker, Gus Little. He also had offers from some MAC schools as well as Syracuse and Temple.

Committing to the Terps in February.

Dream Season:

He works hard in practice and sees a couple downs, getting better by next season.

2015 Prospectus:

Zanotto is listed fourth on the depth chart at outside linebacker and will likely not see much time, if any on the field this year. He was a possible redshirt candidate coming into this year but assuming he doesn't redshirt, he will spend his time learning by watching guys like Jermaine Carter, Jalen Brooks, and Jefferson Ashiru play ahead of him.
