Here’s the quickest goal in Maryland women’s soccer history

Alex Anthony scored 13 seconds into the game Sunday against Navy, which is the fastest goal ever by a Terp and tied for 20th-fastest in NCAA history. The play is designed for Sarah Fichtner, but when she drew Navy's left back forward, the space opened up for Anthony. Amanda Gerlitz made the right decision and played it to the sophomore striker, who cleanly finished for her 2nd goal of the season. Anthony would score again in the 65th minute, propelling Maryland to a 2-0 win.
