COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland football team will hold its annual Fan Appreciation Day Saturday, Aug. 22 at 1:00 p.m. at Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium.

The day will begin with an intersquad scrimmage that is open to the public.

Athletics department officials will be on hand for a select-a-seat event throughout the scrimmage, providing information on available season ticket packages for the 2015 season.

After the team's scrimmage, student-athletes will participate in an autograph session on the visiting team sideline of the field. Fans are encouraged to gather at field level to interact with student-athletes and obtain autographs.

Maryland football posters, schedule cards and other giveaways will be available at the marketing tables.

Fans and media are advised to park in Lot 1, which is free on weekends and adjacent to the stadium. Capital One Field at Byrd Stadium can be accessed through Gate I.
