How'd He Get to College Park?

Dunn was a tackle and guard at Whitman, where he was named lineman of the year in 2011. He was named second team all-county as a senior, and redshirted his first year on campus. He received interest from UConn, Lehigh, Fordham and Bryant.

Dunn broke through in spring camp in 2013, wresting the starting right guard slot from Andrew Zeller and holding on to it for the first nine games of the season. After Mike Madaras left the program, Dunn moved over to right tackle, where he stayed for the rest of the season.

In 2014, Dunn started every game once again -- 10 at left tackle and three at right tackle.

Career Highlight:

Earning a scholarship after entering the program as a walk-on.

Dream Season:

Dunn anchors an improved Maryland offensive line from the left tackle spot while mentoring the Terps' two blue-chip freshmen at the position.

2015 Prospectus:

Dunn's career at Maryland has gotten off to a tremendous start, and there's little reason not to expect him to make it three straight years starting every game for the Terps. The program has found success with walk-on linemen before (see: Gonella, Andrew), and Dunn is a shining example. He's listed as the team's starter at left tackle, but can play inside or outside on either side of the line.
