Maryland football's quarterback battle continues in camp

As the beginning of the football season draws ever closer, position battles begin to heat up, but for the Maryland football team, its fans and Randy Edsall, the biggest question mark yet to be answered still remains at quarterback.

Terps Practice Report 8.18.15: QB battle continues | Comcast SportsNet Baltimore
Of all the potential position battles heating up in practice during the past few weeks, the most intriguing and perhaps most prevalent one is the race to determine whom will be the starting quarterback for the Terrapins this season.

Randy Edsall on deciding Terps starting QB: ‘We’ve got time’
In case you didn't know, the Terps have had a bit of a quarterback battle going on this summer...much like their neighbors the Washington Redskins...Kirk Cousins FTW am I right?

With camp well under way and the start of the season on the horizon, competition at several positions is beginning to heat up.

Maryland Football Players "Tired of Being Mediocre"
Many fans of the Maryland football team may be excited for the promise of future success, with a slew of highly touted recruits making their way to College Park...eventually. For current players the future is now, and the more seasoned Terps have experienced a career plagued by mediocrity. But, don't take it from me... "When I came here to the University of Maryland, I came here to win," Jefferson said. "I didn’t come here to be mediocre. I came from a winning high school program, so I want to win. I feel like guys, yeah, they’re just tired of being mediocre."

Terps Tight End to Forego Final Year of Eligibility

Tight End P.J. Gallo will forego his final year of eligibility next season. Why? Because Gallo has already accepted a job with Goldman Sachs where he interned this summer. Yea, I can't much blame Gallo for leaving. ICYMI, here's Pete's take on the whole thing: PJ Gallo.

Maryland Basketball:

Terps-Hoyas to be Featured on ESPN's 24-hour Tip-Off Marathon
I am aware this probably is not news to most serious Terps hoops fans, or frequent readers of the Testudo Times, but in case you missed it, here it is again.

Maryland-Georgetown, one of the best games of the basketball season, to be buried on ESPN | For The Win
This particular writer/fan is not too content with the time slot that the Maryland vs. Georgetown game received during the 24-hour Tip-Off Marathon given the fact that it will be played around the same time as other premier college basketball games, forcing people to "channel surf." I personally will avoid this problem by watching re-runs of Home Improvement on Nick at Nite.
