High school highlights:

How'd He Get to College Park?

Hill committed to the Terps soon after impressing coaches and earning an offer at the team's recruiting camp in June of 2011. Although he started recieving interest from Georgia and Georgia Tech among other schools, he canceled all his other visits after the camp, so Maryland ended up being his only FBS offer.

After seeing most of his action on special teams in six games as a freshman, Hill became a contributor in the secondary as a sophomore, starting 12 games and making 24 tackles while breaking up two passes. In 2014, Hill beat out Jeramiah Johnson for the starting cornerback role in camp, and started the first four games before an undisclosed injury put him out for the season.

Career Highlight:

Getting his first career interception last year against USF.

Dream Season:

Hill grabs a starting spot and takes advantage of all the passes thrown his way because opposing quarterbacks are too afraid to throw at Will Likely, grabs a few interceptions, and vaults himself into NFL Draft consideration.

2015 Prospectus:

Hill will probably start the season as the team's nickel corner. It's not a starting spot, but it's still a very important role. If he performs well, the team could have three above-average corners to pair with two solid safeties, which will take some of the pressure off the young front seven.
