Tough news for Maryland in the first two days since the Terrapins reported for fall camp: Projected starting outside linebacker Abner Logan will miss the season with an ACL injury. (Randy Edsall didn't specifically announce it was a tear, though that's the far-and-away most common ACL problem in sports.) In the meantime, Logan's injury probably means sophomore Jalen Brooks and Connecticut transfer Jefferson Ashiru will start at outside linebacker.
