How'd He Get to College Park?

Stefanelli attended Good Counsel High School in Maryland, which supplied the Terps with Stefon Diggs and Jessie Aniebonam, as well as 2016 committs Keandre Jones and Travon Stott. He redshirted his first season at Temple before transfering to Maryland.

He was eligible to play immediately upon his transfer to College Park, and Stefanelli appeared in two games in 2013. However, he did not see any snaps in 2014.

Career Highlight:

Making his college debut against Old Dominion in 2013.

Dream Season:

Stefanelli surprisingly jumps Kenneth Goins Jr. as the team's No. 1 fullback and provides quality pass protection and helps clear lanes for Brandon Ross and Wes Brown as the Terps' running becomes a real threat in the Big Ten and makes life for Caleb Rowe or Daxx Garman a little easier.

2015 Prospectus:

Stefanelli is likely to remain the team's backup fullback this season. He could get some in-game reps in early nonconference play, but will probably struggle to see the field once Big Ten play starts.
