Defensive tackle Darius Kilgo has been drafted by the Denver Broncos in the sixth round with the 203rd-overall pick.
Kilgo was a three-star recruit from Matthews, N.C., coming out of high school, committing to Maryland in 2010. He redshirted his freshman year with the Terrapins.
In 2012, Kilgo recorded 40 tackles (5.0 for loss) and 1.5 sacks. He followed that up with a 2013 campaign that saw him pick up 37 tackles (6.5 for loss) and 2.0 sacks.
Kilgo's most productive season came as a senior in 2014, when he made 43 tackles (31 of which were solo and 8.0 of which were for loss) and had 2.0 sacks.
Kilgo was selected to play in the East–West Shrine Game in January. He drew interest from a number of teams before the draft, visiting the Buffalo Bills, Washington Redskins, Green Bay Packers and Miami Dolphins, according to the Baltimore Sun.
