Maryland wide receiver Deon Long has signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent, according to his former junior college.
Long originally signed with West Virginia coming out of high school, but never played a down in Morgantown. He then transferred to New Mexico and played one season there, racking up 809 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 47 catches.
The receiver then went to Iowa Western Junior College, and came to Maryland as a four-star junior college recruit who was ranked among the top 10 JUCO players on the 247Sports composite. Together with Stefon Diggs, the two formed arguably one of the most formidable wideout tandems in the country when healthy.
As a junior with the Terrapins, Long recorded 489 receiving yards and one TD in seven games before breaking his leg on a play in October 2013, ending his season. He would return for his senior year but was not always a favored target, which saw his production drop off to 575 receiving yards and two TDs in 13 games.
