What's at Stake:

In five of the previous six seasons Maryland finished in the bottom half of the conference in terms of its team passing yardage ranking. Under head coach Randy Edsall, the highest the Terps have ever ranked in team passing is 44th. In 2012, the Maryland passing game ranked 109th overall, although, having a linebacker play quarterback may have skewed the numbers out of favor slightly. Injuries and other factors have led to a mostly inconsistent passing game under the tenure of Edsall and a recruit like Haskins could certainly help begin to turn the cogs in the other direction. Haskins would easily become the highest touted quarterback recruit to grace College Park in many, many years.
