Former Maryland guard Dez Wells is among the prospects invited to the NBA Scouting Combine, which started Tuesday in Chicago and runs throughout the week. Wells spent three seasons at Maryland after one year at Xavier, and is not currently projected to be selected by nbadraft.net. A strong performance could see him sneak into the second round.

Notable Big Ten conference players he will have to compete against include Frank Kaminsky & Sam Dekker (Wisconsin), Branden Dawson (Michigan State), Terran Petteway (Nebraska), D'Angelo Russell (Ohio State) and Aaron White (Iowa).
During his college career at Xavier and Maryland, Wells accumulated these numbers.
