Women's 2015 Final Four: how to watch Maryland vs. Connecticut, South Carolina vs. Notre Dame - schedule, online stream, gamethread

Everything you need to watch and talk about today's Final Four between Maryland and Connecticut.

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

The 2015 women's basketball Final Four tips off Sunday evening with two match-ups featuring four 1-seeds. The Maryland Terrapins will take on the Connecticut Huskies in the second game Sunday evening in the women's national semi-finals. This marks the third time the Terps have reached the Final Four under head coach Brenda Frese and the first time they've made back-to-back Final Four appearances in school history. Maryland won the National Title under Frese in 2006, when they defeated the Duke Blue Devils in overtime.

Their opponent in Sunday's game is one of the most dominant teams in women's basketball history, the Connecticut Huskies, who enter with a 36-1 record and the heavy favorite to make yet another appearance in the national title game Tuesday evening. But the Terps hope to be able to stop UConn, who is led by junior Breanna Stewart. UConn's star junior is averaging 17.6 point per game and 7.6 rebounds per game this season and was recently awarded the winner of the Wade Trophy, presented to the national player of the year by the WBCA, as well as named the AP's Player of the Year.

Maryland enters Sunday's watch up on a 28-game win streak, having gone undefeated in their first season as a member of the Big Ten conference and winning their inaugural conference tournament a few weeks ago. If you'd like to read more about Sunday's game with UConn, including what Maryland would have to do to defeat the Huskies, check out Todd's comprehensive preview here.

Prior to tip-off between the Terrapins and Huskies will be Sunday's other semi-final game, which will feature a match up between the two other 1-seeds in their year's tournament, the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
