How to watch the Maryland football spring game guide and open thread

Go support your Terps!

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

Come one, come all to the first Maryland football game of 2015.  The best news is that Maryland is guaranteed a win.  The bad news is that injuries have limited key contributors including presumptive quarterback starter Caleb Rowe, and right tackle Derwin Gray.

Players to watch:

Shane Cockerille: The sophomore has gotten many reps with the first team, and should be in prime position to claim the backup position in the fall.

Damian Prince: The red-shirt freshman should be able to land a starting spot along the revamped offensive line, especially if Derwin Gray is slow in healing from his torn labrum.

Taivon Jacobs The highly touted wide receiver has had tremendous difficulty staying on the field due to injuries.  His effectiveness will be key for the Terps' deep receiving corps.

4-3 defense: The Terps are transitioning to a more Big Ten friendly 4-3 defense under new defensive coordinator Keith Dudzinski.  It will be interesting to see how quickly the players are learning the new system.
