The Wisconsin Badgers and Kentucky Wildcats are advancing to play against each other in the Final Four in a matchup of one seeds. The Badgers upped their program-record 34 wins with another great outing against a strong Arizona team while the Wildcats survived perfection in a tit-for-tat game in Cleveland against Notre Dame. With just half of the stage set for Indianapolis, the games roll on Sunday.
Louisville and Michigan State square off in a matinee in another one of Maryland's old conference versus new conference matchup. Louisville finished fourth in the ACC with a 24-8 regular season record. Montrezl Harrell and Terry Rozier each lead the Cardinals with 15 plus points per game while Harrell finished second in the ACC in rebounding, pulling down 9.5 boards a game. Tom Izzo is looking to advance to his seventh Final Four and first since 2010 behind seniors Travis Trice and Branden Dawson.
The Duke Blue Devils and Gonzaga Bulldogs round out the games, with the winner claiming a spot in the National Semifinal against the winner of Louisville-Michigan State. Duke has been dominant all season long, coasting to a one-seed led by the freshman trio of Jahlil Okafor, Justise Winslow and Tyus Jones. Gonzaga claims one of the most efficient offenses in the country, scoring 79.1 points per contest (10th in the country) on 52.4 percent from the field, good for best in the country.
