First Lady Michelle Obama and other members first family are expected to attend this weekend's NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament at Maryland's Xfinity Center, sources with knowledge of the situation said Thursday. It was not yet clear whether President Obama would make the trip.

Princeton freshman Leslie Robinson, a niece of the first lady and the president, is set to play an 11:05 a.m. game against Green Bay on Saturday. The first lady watched Princeton play a game at American last fall, while the entire family visited College Park early last season for a Maryland men's game against Oregon State – coached at the time by Michelle Obama's brother, Craig Robinson.

Mr. Obama has visited College Park a handful of times, both as a candidate and as president. In addition to the first family's trip to watch Oregon State and Maryland in 2013, he spoke at what was then named Comcast Center in February 2008 and at Ritchie Coliseum in July 2011.

Representatives of the Maryland women's basketball program and the first lady's press office declined to comment.
