The Maryland Terrapins, who went 1-1 in last week's Big Ten tournament, fell to No. 12 in the Associated Press poll to close out the 2014-15 season. Despite the slight drop, the Terps still finished the year with their highest ranking since they concluded the 2001-02 season, when they were ranked No. 4. Maryland was last ranked in the final AP poll back in the 2009-10 season, when there were No. 20.
Maryland earned a 4-seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament, where they'll tip off on Friday in Columbus, Ohio, at 4:40 p.m.
Wisconsin, who earned a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, finished the season ranked No. 3. The Terrapins defeated the Badgers back on Feb. 24. The Badgers remained the highest-ranked Big Ten team. Michigan State moved into the rankings at No. 23.
Virginia was ranked No. 6, following a loss in the ACC Tournament. Iowa State, a team Maryland defeated on a neutral court, finished the season ranked No. 9
