The Big Ten Tournament is finally upon us. Well, it's been upon several teams already, but by virtue of Maryland's double bye as a No. 2 seed, the Terps hit the United Center court for the first time tonight.
Maryland will face the No. 7-seed Indiana Hoosiers, who reached the quarterfinal after defeating No. 10 Northwestern Thursday. Indiana beat the Wildcats 71-56 after building a 14-point halftime lead.
The Hoosiers limped their way into the Big Ten Tournament, losing four of their last five games. Against Northwestern, freshman guard James Blackmon Jr. led the way with 25 points and seven assists, while Yogi Ferrell scored 27.
The Terps and Indiana split their season series, with Maryland falling by 19 in Bloomington before edging the Hoosiers by two on Feb. 11 in College Park.
So let's start tonight's discussion. Will Yogi Ferrell go off against the Terps again? Who leads Maryland in scoring?
