The Terps are looking to extend their 12-game home winning streak as the Michigan Wolverines come to town. Maryland, fresh off an upset over No. 5 Wisconsin Badgers, enter the game against Michigan sharing second place in the Big Ten with Purdue. The revival of senior Dez Wells has been timely and he'll go into his last-ever home game sporting a Maryland uniform with eight straight games of scoring 12 plus points under his belt.
The Terps aren't the only ones coming off of their biggest win of the season, as Michigan inched out a win against No. 24 Ohio State. Michigan has had a disappointing season, to say the least, but can play spoiler to a Maryland team that defends its home court well. With their best player, Caris LeVert, sidelined for the remainder of the season, the Wolverines will look to Zak Irvin to carry the load and supply the bulk of the scoring.

The numbers
Rankings and records: Maryland is 23-5 and ranked No. 14 in both the AP Poll and the Coaches Poll. Michigan is 14-13 and 7-8 in the Big Ten.
KenPom's prediction: Maryland, 65-57. 81 percent chance the Terps win.
Two things at stake
Maryland can potentially crack the top 10 with a win in this game and can sweep the B1G in home wins this season, an impressive feat to send off the seniors.
Michigan is riding a huge win against Ohio State and should continue its fire, now that its chances of making the tournament are slim to none.
One big matchup
Dez Wells vs. Zak Irvin. Wells, coming off arguably his best game as a Terp, put up 26 points to go along with 7 rebounds and 4 assists and will want to end his career in front of Terps fans on a similar note. Irvin has been one of the best weapons for Michigan this season. The sophomore from Indiana is averaging 13.9 points per game but only managed 7 points against Ohio State.
