The Gold Rush is on. The Terps are set to debut this year's version of their gold uniforms when they host Wisconsin tonight at the Xfinity Center. If you haven't seen them yet, here is what the most recent version of the gold uniform looks like:

Terrapin BB Uniforms on Twitter had a great idea, taking a look at some of the most memorable gold uniform basketball games for Maryland. (They're definitely worth a follow if you don't already, as they provide great insight into Maryland's various basketball uniforms).
So we decided to rank some of the recent gold uniforms games, coming up with a top three most memorable gold uniform games for Maryland.
Honorable mention: Maryland routs UNC, 92-71, Feb. 7, 2010
Maryland absolutely destroyed UNC in 2010, winning by 21 against the Tar Heels. UNC started the year ranked No. 6 in the preseason, but ended up in the NIT. Greivis Vasquez had 26 points, 11 assists and five rebounds in the game and Maryland as a team made 13 of their 23 3-point attempts.
No. 3 - Cliff Tucker buzzer beater game against Georgia Tech, Feb. 20, 2010
This game was memorable for a number of reasons. First, after Tech scored to take the lead, Maryland brought the ball up court and Vasquez launched a half court shot that went in as time expired. Or so we thought. As the jubilant fans at the Comcast Center would soon realize, assistant coach Keith Booth had called timeout before Vasquez's shot was taken, giving Maryland just 1.5 seconds to make a shot to win or tie the game. Then came the Cliff Tucker shot. It was amazing enough that Tucker's shot went in, but what made it even more memorable is that it went in after everyone thought the game was already won a few minutes earlier. The roar from that crowd as Tucker's shot went in was a deafening wall of awesomeness. It was a crazy emotional roller coaster. Here's Pete's recap of that shot, which occurred just more than five years ago. And here's the shot.
No. 2 - Maryland upsets No. 3 UNC in overtime behind Vasquez's triple-double, Feb. 21, 2009
This game was incredible. Vasquez had one of the best games a Maryland player has ever had, scoring 35 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and dishing out 10 assists. Cliff Tucker scored 22 and Eric Hayes had 17. This is the win that helped propel Maryland into the NCAA tournament after the whole Washington Post/Debbie Yow fiasco. Gary getting emotional after the game perfectly captured how he felt about his team overcoming so much that season.
No. 1 - Terps upset Duke on senior night, March 3, 2010
One of my favorite memories of Maryland basketball. This game was incredible, the crowd at Comcast that night was simply amazing. It was defining when Vasquez hit clutch shot after clutch shot. And upsetting Duke on Vasquez's senior night was just too perfect.
What other gold uni games did we miss? What are your favorite memories?
