The Maryland Terrapins fell in the AP Poll for the second consecutive week, dropping just one spot from No. 16 down to No. 17 after being blown out on the road against Ohio State last week. The Buckeyes moved back into this week's poll at No. 20.
UPDATE: They're now 16th in the latest USAToday Coaches Poll.
Maryland's ranking this week is their lowest since week 6, when they were also ranked at No. 17.
Maryland will have two opportunities to pick up wins this week, when they host Penn State in College Park on Wednesday before traveling to Iowa on Sunday afternoon with a match-up against the Hawkeyes. The Terps will likely have to win both of those games if they are to remain in the Top 25 next week.
Virginia, who beat Maryland in College Park early this season, dropped from the No. 2 spot down to No. 3 after losing their first game of the season against Duke. Wisconsin remained at No. 5 and is still the highest ranked Big Ten team. Indiana, who checked in at No. 22 last week, dropped out of the Top 25 after suffering a loss to Purdue and defeating Rutgers at home.
