Football's Brandon Ross picked up his second straight win as Testudo Times Terp of the Week in last week's poll. His second consecutive three-touchdown performance, which included the go-ahead touchdown to beat Rutgers, was enough to hold off Brionna Jones and Eryk Williamson.
It's a whole new week and a whole new poll. Our contestants this week will be women's basketball's Shatori Walker-Kimbrough, men's soccer's Cody Niedermeier, wrestling's Jaron Smith and men's basketball's Robert Carter Jr. and Melo Trimble.
Shatori Walker-Kimbrough, Women's Basketball -
SWK went off on ranked Syracuse in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. She stuffed the stat sheet with 19 points on 6-9 shooting, eight assists, six rebounds, two blocks and a steal.
Melo Trimble, Men's Basketball -
Trimble had 23 points, 12 assists and two steals against top-10 UNC. It was the first Maryland points/assists double-double since Eric Hayes against Virginia Tech in February 2010.
