Maryland basketball suffered its first first loss of the season Tuesday to North Carolina. On Friday night, the team has a chance to get back in the win column. The No. 2 (for now) Terrapins have an easier matchup this time around, taking on the St. Francis Red Flash at 7 p.m.
The game will be televised on the Big Ten Network, and you can expect new Maryland head football coach DJ Durkin to make an appearance at some point tonight.
Maryland shouldn't have too much trouble with St. Francis, a team that's lost to Maryland Eastern Shore and Kent State. The Red Flash are 274th in KenPom's adjusted offensive efficiency, while the Terps rank 14th in that category. KenPom also give the Terps a 97 percent chance victory in this one.
The Terps will be looking for a bounce-back win after losing to the Tar Heels, and it's hard to see them not getting one tonight.
