#5 Women's Basketball

Maryland didn't play difficult teams this week and they trounced both Loyola and Southern. They beat Loyola by 50 and Southern by 33. Shatori Walker-Kimbrough and Brene Moseley each hit career milestones in the win against Southern.

Record this week: 2-0 (97-47 win over Loyola and 94-61 win over Southern)

Record this season: 10-0

Grade for the week: A+. Maryland stays undefeated and continues on the path to a top-five showdown with UConn later this month.

Title Chances: 5. Maryland has a great shot to repeat as Big Ten champs.

Wrestling

Maryland lost their Big Ten home opener to top-five Nebraska. Four of Nebraska's eight match wins were bonus point victories, propelling the Cornhuskers to a big dual win. Maryland has wrestled very tough competition but it doesn't get easier. The Terps are off until the Midlands at the end of the month.

Record this week: 0-1 (30-9 loss to No. 4 Nebraska)

Grade for the week: C-. Maryland only won two of the ten matches but they had a chance to win at least one or two more.
