The Terps and Heels meet in a huge showdown from Chapel Hill. Join us to talk about it.

Mitch Stringer-USA TODAY Sports

The No. 2 Maryland men's basketball team squares off tonight with the No. 9 North Carolina Tar Heels in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge Tuesday night. Carolina figures to be the best team the Terps will face in non-conference play, and it's possible they could be the best team Maryland faces all year long in the regular season. While the Terps have looked impressive in their last two victories over Cleveland State and Rhode Island, they have been prone to slow starts and some close games against inferior opposition. They can't have that here, in front of what will be a raucous crowd.

The game tips from the Dean Smith Center in Chapel Hill at 9:30 p.m. EST. You can watch or stream it on ESPN, and we'll be here all night long to talk about it.

Maryland is 6-0 on the season so far, with wins over Mount Saint Mary's, Georgetown, Rider, Illinois State, Rhode Island, and Cleveland State. North Carolina is 6-1 on the year, with wins over Temple, Fairfield, Wofford, Northwestern, and Kansas State, and a loss on the road to Northern Iowa. The Heels are fully healthy for the first time this season just in time for this match-up, with star point guard Marcus Paige expected to get his first minutes.
