How'd She Get to College Park?

Confroy was a ratings service tweener. She was not rated by Hoopgurlz.com but was ranked as the 5st1 overall player by Blue Star and No. 55 by All Star Girls Report and Frese has developed something of an Ohio pipeline as Confroy joined Chloe Pavlech and Malina Howard coming to Maryland from the Buckeye State. In addition to Maryland's academics, Confroy cited the family atmosphere between coaches and players calling them truly amazing as her reasons for becoming a Terp.

Career Highlight

Scored 11 points while adding 4 rebounds and 2 assists against American last season.

Dream Season

Earns the starting position at the two guard, pushing Shatori Walker-Kimbrough to frontcourt duty, and becomes Maryland's 3-point specialist and perimeter defensive stopper.

2015-16 Prospectus

Confroy added a layer of versatility to her game by spending time at point guard camp over the summer putting herself in a position to provide some backup for Chloe Pavlech and Brene Moseley – the two players competing for the starting point guard spot. Most likely, the freshman sophomore will see most of her minutes coming off the bench to provide an offensive spark from beyond the arc.
