This Maryland football season hasn't been easy to watch, but after today it'll all be over. To make things easier for Terps fans, this last game will be against one of the easiest opponents the team will face all year in Rutgers.
The Scarlet Knights are 4-7 (1-6 Big Ten), and are tied for the second-worst record in the Big Ten East. However, after a 47-28 shellacking at the hands of Indiana in a game where they led 21-3 in the first quarter, nothing is certain for the Terps.
The Terps are 2-9 on the season and don't have a conference win, although they have played the toughest schedule in all of college football by far, according to S&P+. This could be interim head coach Mike Locksley's last game with the team, although reports say the school is interested in keeping Locksley on in some capacity, assuming he doesn't become the full-time head coach.
