The No. 2 ranked Maryland men's basketball team will take on Illinois State Tuesday evening in the 2015 Cancun Challenge. The Terps are coming off a close, seven point win against Rider this past Friday in College Park.

Maryland is hoping to replicate its success in early season tournaments after winning both last year's CBE Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City and the 2013 Paradise Jam in St. Thomas. The Terrapins will either face the winner or loser of the TCU-Rhode Island game on Wednesday, depending on the outcome of their contest with Illinois State .
