Caleb Rowe starts at quarterback for Maryland football vs. Indiana; Perry Hills out with mono


Maryland starting quarterback Perry Hills has mono, so backup Caleb Rowe will start Saturday against Indiana, reports the Baltimore Sun Media Group's Daniel Gallen. With fellow backup Gage Shaffer suspended and other backup Daxx Garman out for the season, Maryland's only available quarterbacks are Rowe, Shane Cockerille and Dexter Foreman. Rowe has thrown 15 interceptions on 114 passes this season, for a remarkable 13 percent interception rate.
