The Maryland men's basketball team, ranked No. 3 in the country, welcomes once-and-maybe future rival Georgetown to Xfinity Center on Tuesday night for a 9 p.m. tip.

The game will be televised on ESPN2, with Mike Tirico and Dan Dakich on the call. Maryland alumnus Scott Van Pelt will broadcast a live edition of SportsCenter from the arena floor following the game.

The Terrapins won 80-56 against Mount St. Mary's in their season opener last Friday night.

On the same night, the Hoyas suffered a shocking, double-overtime home loss to Radford.

John Thompson III's team probably isn't as bad as it looked against Radford, but the Terps are still convincing favorites on their home court. The Hoyas' best player is senior guard D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera, who should provide a fun matchup against Maryland guard Melo Trimble in front of what should be a raucous, sellout crowd.

Enjoy the game.
