How'd She Get to College Park?
Harrison was an overpowering presence for Baltimore's Digital Harbor School where she scored 1,465 points, grabbed 1,300 rebounds, handed out 565 assists and added 245 blocked shots to her impressive career stat line while helping lead her team to Baltimore City's Division I title in her senior year. She was ranked as the number 80 player in the country by ESPN's Hoopgurlz.com and chose Maryland, "her dream school since she was 12," over Kentucky and Rutgers among other offers.
Career Highlight
Pulled down a career high 12 rebounds while adding 7 points, 3 assists, a block and a steal in Maryland's 80-69 win over number 17 Rutgers.
Dream Season
Harrison is an exceptional athlete who, as the line on her career highlight shows, has the ability to fill up the box score. While it's unlikely that she'll win a spot in the starting lineup, she frequently comes off the bench to provide productive and energizing minutes.
2015-16 Prospectus
Harrison took an injury redshirt as a freshman and has been slowed a bit by injuries in the preseason thus far. In a crowded and talented front court she will have to compete hard for minutes but her presence on the court always provided a boost in energy in last season's run to the Final Four. If she stays healthy, she can do the same this season.
