Can Maryland develop a true rivalry with Penn State in football?

The Nittany Lions represent Maryland's only chance to develop a real rivalry in the Big Ten. The geography works and the timing might finally be right for two teams that arrived at this point from very different directions but find themselves at similar competitive crossroads.

Hopefully they're able to get back on the field for Saturday's game. But Mike Locksley had this to say about Prince: “I’m hoping that they are bumps and bruises,” Locksley said of the condition of Prince and Zeller. “The only concern I have, with like Damian’s injury, is that it’s a high-ankle type of sprain where he’s in a walking boot. With him being a big guy, those things tend to linger a little longer than normal. If you rush them back and they come back too soon, they become an issue all year long. We’ll see how he responds to some treatment here today and tomorrow, their day. We’ll have a better idea Tuesday morning once we practice.”
