Maryland has outscored Towson 56-14 this season.

Ben Queen-USA TODAY Sports

No. 6 Maryland field hockey hosts Towson on Sunday in the final regular season home game for the Terrapins (14-3).

Towson (2-13) has struggled this season, scoring only 14 goals while allowing 66. Stacey Mackintosh, Heather Jenney and Morgan Skavdahl lead Towson this year with six points each.

Maryland's attacking prowess has been spread out, with seven players recording more than six points. Senior Welma Luus leads the team with 26 points. Luus was also named the Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday, her second time receiving the award this year.

Maryland is on a 12-game winning streak, and has recorded four straight shutouts. It ties the Terps' longest shutout streak in program history, and is the first time they've done it since 2002. They clinched at least a share of the Big Ten title with their win over Indiana on Friday.

The game will start at 1 p.m. Before the game, Maryland will recognize their eight seniors: Faye Curran, Anna Dessoye, Jill Genovese, Shari Jones, Welma Luus, Alyssa Parker, Sarah Sprink and Kasey Tapman. The game will be streamed on BTN2Go.
