The Maryland football team on Monday released images of the 1960s throwback uniforms the Terrapins will wear against Penn State for Saturday's game at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.

If you were reading along here last week, you already knew this, but here's the first official look at the full uniforms. They're specifically a call back to to 1961, which until last year marked the only time ever that Maryland beat Penn State in football. The Terps' win at Beaver Stadium last Nov. 1 moved them to 2-35-1 all-time against the Nittany Lions.
Anyway, the threads look great, and they'll make for a cool scene against Penn State's classic all-white design. Given the caliber of offense the two teams have provided this year, the game could have a very 1960s feel in general.
Via Maryland and Under Armour, here's a collection of promotional shots:
So, yeah: These are great. Credit to Maryland and Under Armour's designers for knowing when to be old instead of young.
