Not even a storied rival can stop the Terrapins' roll.

No. 7 Maryland field hockey (12-3) defeated No. 11 Old Dominion 1-0 in the 58th installment of the schools' rivalry. Anna Dessoye scored the game's only goal off a penalty corner with 15:43 left to play, giving Maryland their 10th straight win.

Maryland's defense led the way, holding the Monarchs scoreless for the first time all season. Old Dominion did not record a shot until the last 10 minutes of the game. Maryland freshman goalie Sarah Holliday recorded her second straight shutout, and her third of the season.

Maryland ends its five-game road streak Sunday at Rutgers (6-7). The game will not be streamed online, but can be heard for free through Follow along there and at the team's Twitter page.
