The Maryland Terrapins did not make it into the top ten of this week's AP Poll, moving up one spot to No. 13. The Terrapins are No. 8 in the Coaches Poll. The Terps picked up two home wins last week, defeating Rutgers on Wednesday, 73-65, and blowing out Michigan State Saturday afternoon, 75-59.

Maryland has firmly established themselves as a contender for the Big Ten title in their first year as a member of the conference. They currently sit atop the league standings and are continuing to gain on Wisconsin in the polls. The Badgers check in at No. 6 this week, just seven spots ahead of the Terps. Maryland and Wisconsin are now joined by Indiana at No. 23.

Virginia, who Maryland lost to earlier this year in the B1G-ACC Challenge, held onto the No. 2 spot, trailing just Kentucky, who has remained at No. 1 all season. Both teams remain undefeated. Iowa State, who Maryland defeated back in November, moved up to No. 9 after losing to previous No. 22 Baylor and defeating previous No. 9 Kansas last week.
