Week five of college football brings us closer to the middle of the season, where ever game matters. As teams look to either stay unbeaten, get their first win, or improve losing records they know every game counts so that their dreams for post play stay in reach.
In the epic game of thrones game of college football, is there anything bigger than a Big Ten victory? Well, thats the motivation the Purdue Boilmakers will use during their homecoming game this Saturday against Iowa. Coming off a 35-13 win against Southern Illinois’ to capture their second win of the season. Iowa beat Purdue in the 2013 season, 38-14.
Also on Saturday, the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs will take on the undefeated Auburn Tigers. This is a crucial game for Auburn to win, because after this week they will began a hard straight schedule of playing ranked opponents such as Ole Miss, Georgia and Mississippi State.
Then the big question Saturday night will be, "could Iowa State upset Baylor?" This Big 12 conference game puts Baylor on the road to Ames, Iowa, as they fight to keep their flawless season alive. Iowa will look to put on the same game as they did against their upset 20-17 win against Iowa earlier this season.
