The game is significant because it will be Maryland's first in the Big 10.
The Hoosiers fell to 1-1 last weekend when they lost to Bowling Green on the road, 45-42. They beat Indiana State, 28-10, in their first game of the season. The story of Indiana's offense so far has been running back Tevin Coleman, who has 47 carries for 437 yards and 5 touchdowns in two games. That's an average of 9.3 yards per rush.
Their quarterback, junior Nate Sudfeld, has completed 71 percent of his passes through two starts. He's appeared in all but five games over his three years in Bloomington, so if nothing else, he'll bring plenty of Big Ten experience into his start against the conference newcomer Terrapins.
